i'm not too sure what kind of mode i'm in now, because i feel like giving everything up but my spirit tells me i need to press on.
and it is times like this when i truly struggle in finding security in this life :/
too many things going on lately @.@
2nd time in a year someone in the fam is staying in hospital @.@ i feel burdened for my parents because we children have not taken care of our bodies and made them worry. i just hope that everything will be alright soon and i can fly off next week in peace t.t
i have been taking more videos instead of photos lately! unfortunately, the blogger app doesnt allow me to upload them.
highlights:
-supermoon
-pikachu parade @ChangiT3
-tom yum chicken mee soup @airport recreation centre (super spicyy!! :pp)
-shilifang hotpot (AGAIN.LOL)
I hope the finals dont cheat my feelings again ): i always miss out on the things that are tested @.@
y3s1 concluded well!! :D i'm so thankful for the courage to take a leap of faith in june/july to juggle both ocip and phfsr16, on top of studies and nav.
the biggest surprise of all- being entrusted with the responsibility to read the bible faithfully every week with a willing soul.
i see God pouring out His grace in every area of my life. Never would i expect to have team members with complementary strengths, suited for the various tasks we had such as designing and calculations.
Thankful that i barely had readings, and phfsr16 only started becoming active after ocip had toned down slightly. Thankful tht there are many capable ppl on the phfsr16 events team such tht i am in a comfortable position to carefully learn and observe instead of throwing myself entirely into the planning process in the leadup to finals.
I also had to witness my parents facing a crisis but thankfully there was a way out.
i find it amazing how i didnt have to struggle so much wrt attending navex every friday night, and also the willingness to stay on for games. because of R, i learned to put my feelings aside and join the rest for dinner. and i do feel tht ive been rewarded this time by having opportunities to converse with the younger girls! really thankful for a strengthened soul tht can help me to serve others
i also see how generous, capable and friendly all my profs and tutors are this sem. although the bell curve is gonna be really steep but it still feels shiok knowing tht i have some A+s for CA. hahaha.
hm but i know i cant be complacent!!
so im gonna study really hard n hopefully it does pay off
it's really fun to dine and shop with a sister, especially if it's during the end of season sale period too!
congratulations on your overseas scholarship!!! hope tht it will be an eyeopening and enjoyable stage of your life for you :D
-chickenup: lightbulb drinks, kimchi fries and free watermelon bingsu (whoohoo i love giveaways!)
-f21 buy 2 get 1 free sale: FINALLY i've found an accessory tht is suited for my small wrists!!

Imagine walking 3 to 6 km almost every day just to get to school or work in slippers or bare footed 🏃🏻. This is the reality of underprivileged children in countries like Cambodia.
Come join me in a 3.5km non-competitive walk in flip-flops this 10 Dec! The Slipper Race 2016 aims to inspire Singaporeans to be part of a community-driven effort to empower education for the less privileged at home and overseas. All race registrations (100% of 'em!!) will be contributed to education and training programmes in Singapore and Cambodia.
Make footprints of change with us at www.phfslipperrace.org today! 😊

it was refreshing to work with supportive, responsible and polite groupmates. even though we had lastminute panics and late night meetings, im always thankful that we share the best laughs together (:

(i have really bad eye bags and the lack of sleep is causing bad skin and my hair to fall more? t.t t.t
some days i wonder how i juggle so many commitments and not fall sick yet...
thank you Jesus for Your protection over me!)
